About this camp

In the Bricks 4 Kidz - Brick City Engineers with LEGO® Summer Camp, children engage in hands-on activities to design and construct city-themed models using LEGO® bricks. The camp focuses on developing engineering and architectural skills through creative play. Campers will build custom cranes, planes, bulldozers, and other vehicles to navigate their brick city. They are challenged to use their imagination and skills to construct skyscrapers and other city-themed models, drawing inspiration from famous landmarks. The curriculum integrates STEM concepts, including friction, gravity, torque, scale, gears, axles, and beams, in a fun and engaging way. Participants work in a lab-type setting, often in pairs, to build proprietary Bricks 4 Kidz models and also have opportunities for free-play to create their own designs. The program aims to enhance self-esteem, fine-motor skills, social-emotional skills, and creativity, while fostering an appreciation for how things work and introducing potential career paths in architecture and engineering.

What a typical day looks like

Each day, campers create a mixture of LEGO® robots, mosaic art, 3D art, arts and craft projects, play games, and have free play time to make their own LEGO® creations. Full-day campers have a lunch break.
